Jim is a vocalist, guitarist, and singer/songwriter out of Chesapeake, Virginia. Jim performs a wide variety of acoustic music covering classic rock, folk rock, new/old country, and his own originals. Jim performs at numerous venues all around southeast Virginia and North Carolina. Jim has performed at local festivals in Hampton Roads: Hampton’s Bay Days, Norfolk’s Stockley Gardens Art Festival, and Suffolk’s Driver Days Fall Festival. He has been a featured performer on radio/TV shows; The Acoustic Highway WHRO 89.5; WHRO’s Alt/radio, Hunter at Sunrise; Hampton Roads Show, WVBT Channel 10, and The Coast Live, WTKR, Channel 3. Jim has been performing since 1994 where he was the bassist/guitarist and one of the lead vocalist for the country/rock band, Cumberland County Line (CCL). Jim feels very fortunate to have played with some of Hampton Roads many talented musicians in numerous band configurations over the years. In 2013, Jim released his debut CD, "Next Train", a compellation of Jim’s original material. Jim’s influences include Beatles, Bob Dylan, James Taylor, Eagles, Allman Brother, CSN, Steve Miller, CCR, Bob Seger, Fast Ball, George Strait, Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard, Willie Nelson, and many other great artist. Jim’s commanding vocals and expressive guitar style makes him a very commanding and entertaining performer. He leaves it all on the stage!
